Putin Declares ‘All of Ukraine Is Ours’

Key Points and Summary – In one of his most aggressive declarations of the war, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated at a St. Petersburg forum that “all of Ukraine is ours,” asserting that Russians and Ukrainians are “one nation.”

-This maximalist rhetoric effectively scuttles any near-term hope for peace negotiations. The statement was coupled with a veiled nuclear threat, with Putin warning of “catastrophic consequences” if Ukraine were to use a “dirty bomb,” a claim for which there is no evidence.

-This escalation comes as the Trump administration appears to be disengaging from the conflict, having quietly disbanded a working group meant to pressure Moscow.

Putin: “All of Ukraine Is Ours”

In one of his starkest declarations yet, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that “all of Ukraine is ours,” a statement that sent shockwaves through already fragile diplomatic efforts to end the war, now entering its fourth year.

‘Ukraine is Ours’

The remarks came during a Q&A session at an investment forum in St Petersburg, where Putin reiterated his view that Russians and Ukrainians are “one nation” and invoked an ominous historical maxim: “Where a Russian soldier sets foot, that is ours.” The audience—composed largely of Russian officials and business leaders—responded with applause.

Peace Talks on Ice?

Could Putin’s words put ongoing talks in Turkey on the rocks?

Were they going anywhere in any case, given Moscow’s apparent refusal to budge, despite suggestions that Putin could meet face-to-face with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Kremlin’s military action is still ramping up, especially in the Donetsk area, where its forces say they have taken yet another village, Zaporizhzhia.

Nuclear Threats Loom

More alarming still was Putin’s veiled nuclear threat.

The Russian leader said that “catastrophic consequences” could ensure if Ukraine were to ever employ a “dirty bomb”: a radiological weapon in which non-nuclear explosives are mixed with radioactive material to deadly effect.

Currently, there is no available evidence that Ukraine possesses such a weapon.

Kyiv Continues to Deny

Putin framed his warning in characteristically apocalyptic terms: “It could be their last mistake.” The rhetoric is familiar—reminiscent of Russia’s earlier nuclear sabre-rattling under the Biden administration—but it lands differently in 2025. The global political landscape has shifted.

With Donald Trump back in the White House, Washington’s stance on Ukraine has cooled.

Sources told Reuters that a working group established to explore ways to pressure Moscow into negotiations has been quietly disbanded, as Trump refocuses his foreign policy agenda on the Middle East. The White House has made only muted comments in response to Russia’s renewed threats.

This diplomatic drift risks becoming an abdication. While the world watches Iran and Israel exchange fire, Russia appears emboldened to press forward with its long war of attrition, no longer constrained by the threat of unified Western resolve.

Putin’s latest pronouncement reveals what many in Eastern Europe have long feared: for Moscow, the war is not about borders, but identity.

And for now, Ukraine’s sovereignty is being held hostage to a 20th-century vision of empire—one with 21st-century nuclear teeth.

These words should be re-read by each inner beltway Yankee. Quite a number of times.

Quite a number of times the USA has failed numerous countries in their quest to be democratic or even independent. Tibet readily comes to mind, as the USA flushed their independence away after the second world war.

Quite a number of times the USA has failed Ukraine in their quest to be democratic and certainly independent.

The USA needed to be alert way back about “empires”. The Imperial Czarists butchered their way across Ukraine and subjected Ukrainians to the 500 year old delusion that the muscovites are superior. Maybe, as Monghol related butchers.

The Independent Ukraine of Simon Petlura needed USA support in 1919 in repelling the muscovite butchers hiding in their new Soviet or Bolshevik costumes ( non-Czarist duds).

The second world war was squandered by the USA as the POTUS did not get in fast enough or, then, understand how to free the captive nations trapped under muscovite elite bondage. Ukraine was the prime example of a independent people forced to accept butchery of the costumed Soviet Bolshevik, aka orc muscovite.

Now, in 2014 POTUS Obama unilaterally greenlighted the free, no-cost, giveaway of the ancient Ukrainian Crimea and Black/Azov Sea zones to the prime cold war enemy of the WEST: Putin the devil himself.

Again, in 2025, another POTUS, MAGA Trump pretends that he can not understand the American Constitution as it relates to human trafficking in the sex trade. Ukrainian children have been kidnapped since 2014 by Putin’s “Little green groomers” for cultural genocide in households through out the muscovite elite. Their parents butchered by local russian traitors, Ukrainian children are re-packaged by Putin’s orc with new identity and sent to very needy russian language and dance instructers in rump russia. That the WEST tolerates this very open cultural genocide is a most telling signal of US betrayal of Ukraine and moral turpitude triumphant in the inner beltway.

The code words “peace” and “cease fire” are used by Yankee + western deflectors who adamantly flat out refuse to face the moral turpitude that the Putin orcs openly flaunt. “We, Putinites, can kidnap a million Ukrainian children and the MSM of the WEST will not blink or mutter”.

The challenge of moral incompetence has been issued now in 2025 by the ancient sex traders of orc peasant russia. The orc peasant russian had centuries of “Harvesting” caravans that bi-annually cruised the Ukrainian hinterlands. Little Ukrainian children were used for centuries by peasant russians for personal satiation and GNP income for the Ruskie fatherland. Taken down to the Crimea fort of Caffe, peasant russians dumped their de-flowered victims for muslim gold. -30-
