Key Points – The Russia-Ukraine war, now in its fourth year, presents four primary end scenarios.
-A “frozen conflict” like the Korean War might stabilize current lines but risks future Russian aggression without strong Western security guarantees for Ukraine.
-Continued “attritional warfare” favors Russia due to its larger manpower pool and domestic narrative control. A decisive “Russian victory” would likely mean Ukrainian regime change, demilitarization, and territorial losses.
-Conversely, a “Ukrainian victory” involving significant territorial recapture is improbable without risking Russian escalation, potentially including tactical nuclear use or attacks on Baltic states.
-A negotiated settlement remains elusive due to irreconcilable core objectives.
How Does The Russia-Ukraine War End?
An invasion that Russia thought would be over in a few days has now stretched into its fourth year. And there doesn’t appear to be any end in sight. The United States and Europe are attempting to develop a peace proposal that would be acceptable to all parties, but they are unable to agree on its specific terms.
Are there any chances for a lasting ceasefire or peace through negotiations? While some propose a negotiated end through direct talks between Russia and Ukraine, this is a complex process, according to the BBC. Ukraine may prioritize securing its territorial integrity and seeking Western security guarantees.
But first, to the root of the problem.
Why Did Russia Invade Ukraine?
The war didn’t begin with Russia’s invasion in February 2022; it started nearly a decade before. Putin seized Ukraine’s Crimean peninsula eight years earlier, in 2014, after a revolution that ousted Ukraine’s pro-Russian president and replaced him with a more pro-Western government.
Then came the thinly disguised invasion of the Donbas by “little green men” that Putin immediately recognized as an independent state. Putin thought that his invasion or “special military operation” would be over in a few days, vastly underestimating the will of Ukraine to resist, and overestimating his army’s prowess on a modern battlefield.
Putin gave a bellicose speech on TV, declaring his goal was to “demilitarize and denazify” Ukraine. He has kept the ridiculous pretense that the Ukrainian government was full of Nazis and drug addicts. He stated that Ukraine had never been a sovereign state; it was an artificial construct made by the Soviets in 1917.
What it boiled down to was that Putin didn’t want NATO and freedom on his doorstep. That’s why Ukraine IS an existential threat to Russia in Putin’s eyes and always will be.
Four Possible Scenarios For How The War Will End
With the war currently locked in a stalemate after more than three bloody years of war, it can end in four distinct ways.
Frozen conflict (Similar to the Korean War) – An armistice that would stabilize the front lines close to where it is currently.
This would not bode well for Ukraine in the long term, as unless it receives security from the West, it would likely result in another Russian invasion once its strength is restored.
Continued Attritional (Long) War – A continuation of the attritional conflict that tests each side’s limits. This favors Russia in the long term, as it has a significantly larger number of military-age men and women than Ukraine does.
Plus, the fact that Putin controls the media in Russia means that nothing gets released without his approval. He controls the narrative. Any media member or civilian calling the war anything but a special military operation risks prison.
Victory for Russia – Russia eventually wears down Ukraine’s forces and defenses. Moscow would then dictate the terms of the peace (surrender) of the Ukrainian troops.
For Kyiv, this means a change of government, demilitarization, neutrality, and territorial losses. Moscow would swallow them up.
Victory for Ukraine – The Ukrainian military pushes Russia back to the boundaries of February 2022 or even further, possibly even parts of Crimea.
This means that the Russian military would collapse on the Western front, which is not a great thing in certain aspects. It is doubtful Putin would allow this to happen. He’d never let his special military operation fail. He’d be forced to confront the elephant in the room.
Nukes Or Invasion of the Baltic States?
He’s twirled the nuclear saber since the autumn of 2022. Would he use tactical nukes to restore his lines? That’s the worst possible outcome. But in doing so, he’d nuke civilians he claims are Russian citizens.
MORE: A Nuclear War over Ukraine?
Russia has over 1,500 strategic nukes and about 4,000 other nukes, and even a tactical nuke could ignite a firestorm that could engulf more than half the world.
This type of behavior by Putin was what forced several former Warsaw Pact countries to seek NATO membership. But Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are still legitimate targets if Putin feels he can seize them quickly before NATO can react.
Can Ukraine “Win” Against Russia
Without intelligence and military support from the US, the “most likely” outcome for Ukraine is that it will have to cede territory to Russia.
At this point, the idea that Ukraine could somehow retake Crimea and Donetsk is “almost hard to imagine,” said Lucian Kim, a former Moscow-based correspondent for NPR and Bloomberg.
Moscow and its allies of convenience, China, Iran, and North Korea view the war as a proxy war against the US. If Washington washes its hands of the conflict, how will they react? North Korea has already sent soldiers and China observers, as I learned last week. And Ukraine has the proof.
Two prominent Russian political figures, Ramzan Kadyrov and Yevgeny Prigozhin, tried to become major players in the war. Prigozhin, who led the shadow army known as the Wagner Group, tried to take on Putin and paid for it with his life.
Kadyrov from Chechnya personally led his thuggish troops in battle. Still, they were more successful in terrorizing an unarmed civilian population in Ukraine than they were at taking out Ukrainian troops.
US and Europe Differ On How Each Wants The War To End
Reuters highlighted the differences between the US and European peace proposals.
While the US reportedly foresees full US recognition of Crimea and “de facto” recognition of some other Ukrainian regions seized by Russia, the European text simply says “territorial issues” should be “resolved after a full and unconditional ceasefire.”
MORE: What if Ukraine Had Nuclear Weapons?
Europe wants a security guarantee for Ukraine, similar to NATO Article Five. The US, however, states that Ukraine “will not seek to join NATO” and only affirms that Ukraine will receive a “robust security guarantee.”
The Most Likely Outcome?
A negotiated settlement is unlikely to work. Russia (Putin) won’t accept a free and truly independent Ukraine on its border. That could incite regime change in Russia. And even if that were possible, it would more likely be Putin 2.0 than a democratic Russian nation.
The Ukrainians will not accept further carving up of their nation.
The continued attrition war scenario, sadly, will probably be the way this war will continue. Neither side has the ability currently to win the war. And it continues to be a meat grinder for the troops fighting.

(Taco = trump always chickin’ out.)
Ukraine can still be a good frozen conflict like, k-o-r-e-a.
Without anymore fightin’.
In korea, peace still reigns, despite joe biden’s highly provocative words and actions.
And also under trump. Remember, the military, particularly the pacific forces, operate or function as a semi-separate govt entity, with an own independent foreign policy.
Yet peace in korea has survived and endured.
But the nazuis MUST be kept in their separate enclosure. Separate from the non-nazis. For always and always.

C’mon, man. Everyone knows you want to go to war (and that you’ll lose, like always). That’s why NATO is in Ukraine to begin with. I think you should be the first to enlist and lead the way against the Russians.

I guess you missed the part where Russia has single-handedly drained the military reserves (and even standing stock) of 54 countries.

This thousand year war is now a PR blitz on Yankee + western MSM. USA Individuals suddenly become “magically” cognizant of the thousand year history of orc muscovite attacks on Ukraine to “harvest” little children for their own pleasure and greedy profit. Analogy: Like the day after 9-11: everyone in the USA was a muslim expert in print. The day before 9-11: zero data in the DNI, etc., about Bin Ladins decades old HQ in South Parkdale Toronto. Oh, the HQ was well protected by Putin’s FSB and Xi’ triad spy cell structures.
The Obama-Biden-Democrat cabal unilaterally greenlighted the free, no-cost, giveaway of the geopolitical advantage of the WEST’s control of the Ukrainian Crimea land mass and Black/Azov Sea zones to the prime vile cold war enemy of the WEST: Putin.
That is the factual data point of the re-start of this thousand year old genocide by ruskies of Ukrainian families and the sex trade by peasant russians of their little girls and boys. -30-

The article refuses to state many facts. This seems indicative of the observation of numerous writers: The USA since 2022 is not a cauldron that produces an intelligent level of op-ed writers that understands the morphology of the orc muscovite elite.
The reality may be worse. The DNI and the alpha bet agencies are now rogue. Congress accurately self-assess that Congress can not itself move to implement any form of innovation, reform or efficiency review. Even with MAGA PR flak, there will never be an Elon Musk type knocking at the top secret access doors of the BNI cabal.
The proof: the intelligence – defence community refuses to launder its spy defence laundry for international scrutiny. How did Bin Ladin get Putin and Xi protection implemented for his HQ built and installed in South Parkdale, Toronto? How penetrated by spy cells is Toronto and, therefore, Canada is a topic the USA DNI refuses to divulge? As long as the USA tax funded structure enforces forgetfulness, lack of memory in primary and secondary repression levels, there will never be a real 9-11 that penetrates the structural amnesia implemented for any 9-11 thoughts.
Those “real” FDNY heroes of 9-11: well, the local firemen heroes, or a substitute, are at fault inside the “more real memory” of the DNI for not revealing the years of muslim funding/activity in the Bin Landin South Parkdale, Toronto HQ. After all, the HQ was in a visual sight line of the USA proper.
That analogy, leads the deductive USA thinker to wonder about the huge military aerial activity that Putin used to implement the greenlighting by the Obama-Biden-Democrat cabal of their unilateral free, no-cost, giveaway of the advantage of the WEST in controlling the vast Ukrainian Crimea land mass and the Black/Azov Seas zones.
Did the Obama-Biden-Democrat cabal co-ordinate, negotiate and/or debate with a single ally, NATO or other WEST “recognized” nation? Did the POTUS call any nation and chat it up?
With no funding for any such research into these now old intelligence data piles of various countries, the WEST does not know in 2015 who was informed, how deep the international betrayal was and who the traitors of the WEST exactly were?
The huge aerial air force armada that Putin used to invade the Ukrainian air space over Crimea so as to land his “little green groomers” in Crimea was perceived and recorded by USA intelligence. Did the Obama-Biden cabal inform or consult on action with the USA allies? Did Israel and Canada get notification of this Putin alteration of the geopolitical balance of the middle east?
Or, was the betrayal of the WEST so part of Obama 2014 policy that all was normal in the inner beltway.
The detached observer notes that Putin had his first 2014 kidnappers put on facial masks. The “little green groomers” came in on russian air transport and the human “harvest” of the local traitor russians was sent out on air transport. Putin knew that Obama-Biden-Democrat cabal unilaterally greenlighted this re-start of the old, established human trafficking in Ukrainian children.
No NATO or EU country was prepared to or going to help shoot down these Putin air transports as the orc muscovite elite accessed or egressed from Ukrainian Crimea air space. The Unilateral greenlighting of this human trafficking of Ukrainian children by the USA made Putin ecstatic.
The 2014 investment of imperial military might by Putin to follow up the Obama-Biden greenlighting was in the billions. The Obama-Biden investment of USA military might to stop the Putin re-start of ancient orc russian sex trade was zero. In the apogee of Epstein daily rubbing against the Democrat elite, well, that type of “Lolita” trafficking was, oh, so normal east coast stuff! Any flight to the US virgin islands would show you that Yankee fact.
The scary way the genocide of the Ukrainians was “re-started” is the exclusively scary part. The real threat in Putin’s ethnic muscovite elite is the threat of compensation or reparation demanded for 11 years of free table top dancing and free, no-cost, child slavery coming to an abrupt stop.
The National Security Journal observer sees that every day the scam concern about the death of Putin’s slave captive ethics coming from the lips of the MAGA POTUS Trump. Is it moral turpitude that stops a single word of cash compensation and reparation for 11 free years of slavery of kidnapped Ukrainian children coming from Trump’s lips? Could this Trump fact happen, right before the scam concern about dying Putin slaves again emits and, again, clogs the MSM? Just asking! -30-

The most scary concept is that the MAGA rank and file have lost their ability to attack the Democrat opposition on east topics.
The MAGA rank and file has not made public pressure on the MAGA elite evident on many topics. Are the points lost with the public short or long-term? With no primary repression or secondary repression, memory of these lost real chances can last right into the next election cycle.
The biggest real loss is within the POTUS structure. The MAGA elite can not get Trump to stop giving Putin’s sex trade operation another two weeks, every two weeks!
The POTUS just can not understand the moral turpitude of the Democrats is the easiest target. He just can not say to Putin, Let all the children be paid + released. One fears any deductive analysis of why Trump refuses to stop the war and release child human trafficking victims in the same one sentence.
The POTUS must demand that Putin pre-pay $10,000,000 in gold bullion to each and every child kidnapped as compensation and reparation asap before any more fake “peace” code words are used or unilateral negotiation shame show slither about the world.
With this concrete demand the Putin muscovite elite must fall into disarray. As soon as the first 100,000 human trafficking victims are paid in gold bullion, the russian sawdust budget falters.
The Putin regime is fanatical about keeping the abuse of child table top dancers in their homes as long as possible. 11 years of free, no-cost, child abuse greenlighted by the Obama-Biden-Democrat cabal in 2014 must end and, thereby, end the devotion and love for Putin by the orc muscovite deviant sex traders.
One sentence from the POTUS Trump will ensure that the next two weeks will be the last two weeks of the thousand year russian orc war of Ukraine.
Once the women of Moscow understand why there is pain in their wallets about “free” kidnapped slave children, who are suddenly very costly, this moral turpitude will be stopped from within as the gold bullion compensation pours out.
Forget all that oil barrels cash speculation. Think about the US constitution and reparation cash bullion from Putin for all the abuse and torture of the last 11 years of the re-started thousand year genocide war on Ukrainian families. -30-

Hello PP: the article just fell off the main display panel.
Thank you as you are the very first feed back in many years of posting. The best part is that the first feedback from 500 million possible viewers is from a veteran observer, deducting objectively as various view points hurl by you on a daily basis..
Shills from the Imperial side, the passive middle, actors from the Ukrainian side.
What do you think of the attempt to be objective about the US structure versus the Doodle Dandy regular joe? It seem useful: educational? Being in the many parts of the USA over the lifetime may be useful to the casual Yankee reader?
OK: never was on Reddit. That a good spot in what way in your opinion? Posts educational in your view? Maybe the Reddit audience is where I should consider posting.
Please accept my compliments on your courage to cold call transmit. in advance, I apologize for losing my freshness the next time that you read a bit. The author. -30-
