Key Points – Russia launched one of its most intense air assaults of the war overnight on Monday, June 9th, firing over 300 drones and numerous missiles in what appears to be continued retaliation for Ukraine’s “Operation Spider’s Web.”

-The barrage targeted cities across the country, killing at least three people and damaging civilian infrastructure, including a maternity ward in Odesa and Kyiv’s historic Saint Sophia Cathedral.

-While Ukraine’s air force claimed a high interception rate, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the “brutal onslaught” as an attempt to “drown out” peace efforts and reiterated his urgent plea for more Western air defense systems.

Russia Pounds Kyiv & Odesa in ‘Brutal’ 5-Hour Drone & Missile Barrage

The Ukrainian cities of Kyiv and Odesa suffered a huge overnight assault yesterday as tensions with Moscow continue to flare, despite diplomatic talks in Turkey.

Moscow’s Iranian Drones

Moscow reportedly fired a staggering 315 drones—mostly Iranian-made Shaheds—and seven missiles during the barrage.

Though Ukrainian air defenses intercepted many, the scale of the assault overwhelmed several areas, leaving residents to wake to the sound of explosions, shattered glass, and burning buildings.

Ukrainian Civilians Struck

In Odesa, a maternity hospital and multiple residential buildings were struck. Two deaths were reported, along with nine injuries. One person was killed in Kyiv.

“These strikes are not targeting military infrastructure,” said Kyiv regional head Tymur Tkachenko. “They’re targeting the daily lives of civilians. This is the reality of Russian warfare.”

Images from Kyiv showed a series of scorched apartment blocks and smoke-filled skies.

Elsewhere, in Odesa on the Black Sea coast, stunned residents stood outside damaged homes, some still clutching children wrapped in blankets.

Ukraine War: Zelenskyy Pleads With Washington

President Zelenskyy’s message in the aftermath was scathing. “Russian missile and Shahed strikes are louder than the efforts of the United States and others around the world to force Russia into peace,” he said in a statement, calling for “concrete action” from Western allies and reiterating Ukraine’s plea for enhanced air defense systems and ammunition.

The timing of the assault adds a grim layer of irony. It came just a day after Russia carried out its largest drone offensive of the war, with nearly 500 drones, while both sides, at least on paper, had been engaged in preliminary peace talks in Istanbul.

Though Ukrainian and Russian delegations recently exchanged position papers during the June 2 talks, any genuine progress appears remote. Key demands remain irreconcilable, with each side accusing the other of refusing to compromise.

Despite the renewed diplomatic push, the battlefield tells a different story.

Tuesday’s blitz came just days after Ukraine targeted Russian air bases deep within Russian territory. It likely signals Moscow’s intention to retaliate hard and fast, even if the targets are hospitals and apartment blocks.

Ukraine’s population has grown all too familiar with this pattern: negotiations abroad, destruction at home.

As the international community debates resolutions and ceasefire conditions, Ukrainians continue to pay the price. In Zelenskyy’s words, “We need action, not statements. Peace cannot be brokered while the bombs are still falling.”

The demand has not been made! MAGA POTUS Trump has not demanded that Putin immediately transmit $10,000,000 in gold bullion for each and every human trafficked child as compensation and reparation before any blabbing about peace or cease fire starts!

Once MAGA POTUS Trump has demanded this one sentence, Trump can not start to waiver, vacillate or break down when Putin pulls down his redlines. As soon as Putin transmits the gold bullion for the first 100,000 child victims, the world will see Putin’s next gold bullion transfer to the victims change Russia.

The russian economy has to produce all that gold bullion to transfer. The peasant russian will suddenly see that 11 years later the child victims were not free, no-cost, abuse objects. The return of the victimized children will make the ruskie pedophile lose interest in fighting for coal or rare earth mines. The ancient russian genetic “Lolita” lure will suddenly have a real financial cost.

One sentence from Trump and the re-conquest of Ukraine war stops. Guaranteed. The $10,000,000 gold bullion per child is a Trump demand that Trump can not go back on. Trump stays firm and the Putin war machine suddenly can not be justified. The internal pressures inside fascist russia will cause a rupture. Gold bullion needs to purchased and handed over to the victims.

The question: can Trump hold himself long enough to self-state this critical demand? Trump can not allow this huge moral turpitude to continue. If he breaks down by giving Putin another 2 weeks, then another 2 weeks, victimizing more Ukrainian children, Trump has self abdicated his moral leadership in the world. The re-conquest war will not be over. -30-
